Ingredients
  

  • 1 part garlic.
  • 2 part salt.
  • Pink Himalayan salt.

Instructions
 

Preparing ingredients:

  • Break apart the garlic bulbs and peel the cloves.
  • You want to slice off the little root ends as well once the skins are removed.

Salting:

  • As far as I know just about any salt will do in a pinch, but personally, I recommend pink Himalayan salt.
  • It comes in various grind levels, coarse, medium, and fine. but for best result, I guess you will be preferred the medium.

Last step:

  • Throw them in the food processor and give them a spin.
  • You'll know it's finished when it feels and looks kind of like wet sand. For you, this usually takes about a minute (If you use the Food processor).
  • Pour the garlic on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and spread it out in a thin layer.
  • Pop it inside the oven and bake it for 10 to 20 minutes on the lowest temperature setting, between 150 and 200 degrees F.
  • Check the salt every 2 minutes or so to make sure that it doesn't burn.
  • Finally, throw the chunks back inside your dry food processor and give it a final spin.

Notes

The salt can scuff up the food processor a little bit, and possibly that it may eventually wear down the blade as well. if you plan to do a lot, then you may want to consider buying an inexpensive or used food processor, specifically for this mission.
